Project Details

Located in Bloomington, Indiana, this project reimagines what was once a true IU-inspired bathroom—complete with red and white candy-striped wallpaper—into a refined industrial retreat.

We completely gutted the space to start fresh, integrating new recessed wall shelving that doubles as hidden storage for a sleek and functional design. The shower walls, crafted from Fleurco’s marine-grade plywood panels with a tongue-and-groove installation system, mimic the look of aged concrete while offering lasting durability.

Matte black fixtures complement the metal-inspired tile flooring, while the sliding glass shower door optimizes floor space and keeps the layout open. A custom-built vanity was designed to perfectly fit the footprint and provide a taller, more comfortable height than the original. The industrial-style light fixture enhances the overall aesthetic, while a simple round mirror softens the space and balances the modern edge.
